How we handle refunds, cancellations, and changes for project work and subscription support, written in plain English.
Overview
This Refund Policy explains, in plain English, how PureLogix.ai handles refunds, cancellations, and changes. Because our engagements differ, the specific refund and cancellation terms for your work are set in your signed agreement, proposal, or statement of work. Where this Policy and your signed agreement differ, your signed agreement controls.
Project (Fixed-Scope) Work
Custom implementation and consulting projects are scoped by a proposal or statement of work that defines deliverables, milestones, timeline, and price.
For project work:
- Deposits and milestone payments are typically due before or upon reaching each milestone, as stated in the agreement.
- Because project work consumes time and effort as it progresses, fees for work already performed are generally non-refundable.
- If a project is canceled, you are responsible for work completed up to the cancellation date and for any non-cancelable third-party costs we incurred for the project.
- Change requests beyond the agreed scope are handled through a written change order and may adjust price and timeline.
Subscription Support and Management
Ongoing management, monitoring, or support is provided as a subscription billed monthly or annually according to the active agreement.
For subscriptions:
- You may cancel a subscription with the notice period stated in your agreement; cancellation stops future renewals.
- Monthly subscription fees already paid are generally non-refundable for the current period, and access typically continues until the end of that period.
- Annual prepayments are handled as set out in your agreement; any pro-rated treatment, if offered, will be described there.
- Usage-based or third-party pass-through charges already incurred are non-refundable.
Good-Faith Resolution
If something is not working as expected, contact us first. We will work to resolve the issue under your support terms — for example, by fixing defects, redoing work that did not meet the agreed specification, or finding a reasonable alternative — before considering any refund.
How to Request a Refund or Cancellation
To request a refund or to cancel, contact us at hello@purelogix.ai with your account or project details and a description of the issue. We will review your request, explain how your agreement applies, and respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are issued using the original payment method where practical.
Your Statutory Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection or other laws. Where such rights apply, they take precedence over this Policy.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. Changes do not alter the refund terms of an agreement already signed unless both parties agree in writing.
